Well, the first question would be would you rather work on security policy or education policy? The two are very different. Yale's MA program just seems to be a more general international relations MA. So would you rather a more general degree, or a specialized one?

 

Columbia does have the advantage of being in New York with tons of international organizations and NGOs located there, and I think international security is a hot area right now. So personally I would choose that.
