Anyone applying for PhD in Ghent, Southampton or EPFL?

Thank you for reading my post. 

 

I am applying for Ghent, Southampton and EPFL for a PhD position in Photonics. I have not heard from any of them, even though it has been sometime, especially for Southampton. Anyone else applying for those universities? Any idea about admissions?

Any information of any kind would be highly appreciated.

I'm at the University of Antwerp right now, and I Know the reputation at the University of Ghent is very favorable. Not to mention its a beautiful city with a lot of stuff to do. In the Belgian system UGhent is one of the better universities.
