Awarded Package . . . Still Not Admitted

Hello I had a Skype interview yesterday go a Ph.D. program it went well, they said I should know in one to two weeks. This morning I get an email from the financial aid office about my award package (applied for loans as a back up) and there it was sitting waiting for me to accept or decline while my status is still forwarded to department for review. Anyone have any thoughts, should I call the financial aid office

I would contact your department before contacting financial aid personally... I think you can assume that you were accepted but it doesn't hurt to check with the department.
