Finally able to post here! I was chaperoning a week long trip and during one lunch finally got the amazing news via the schools portal! So excited

Well at least you know still in the running, supposed to hear by today for my last and top choice the hours are getting late. . . . . . but like you I don't want to call/email I did earlier this week and they said by the end of the week. Staying positive though

When I talked to the departments Assistant I was told we should hear this week. It's Friday and I haven't heard going to be a long a stressful dAy. Even though I know it's going to be positive day with amazing news

I would think yes go ahead and ask, but be very concrete that you're asking for a week I wouldn't make it open ended

I emailed yesterday after 2 weeks past interview got a very nice reply that they are still working and should release results this week

You should consider many other factors, location, your end game needs and wants, ranking for education I would imagine isn't vital like other disciplines I could be wrong who knows, but that is not something I worry about

One week to go until April 15th, and I finally broke down and sent an email to school, I have so many plans that depend on this decision, I am surprised I haven't gotten an ulcer yet.

Agreed, already having a career job now, people don't get it at all any of it, apps, waiting, how challenging it is. Down to 1, expecting news before the end of this week, each day is a struggle to stay focused. It is my top choice, exactly what I want to do and focus on in a great city location. All I dream about! In addition I don't know how many more times I can answer the question you hear anything yet . . . .

Hello I had a Skype interview yesterday go a Ph.D. program it went well, they said I should know in one to two weeks. This morning I get an email from the financial aid office about my award package (applied for loans as a back up) and there it was sitting waiting for me to accept or decline while my status is still forwarded to department for review. Anyone have any thoughts, should I call the financial aid office

Going insane had interview via skype yesterday much shorter than I thought it would be, then this morning I get an email from the finical aid office about my package (I filled out a FASA for everything just in case). I log in and see it accept or decline award, now I am confused. Log into the other portal still listed as under review. Fake out? Omen? Going to stress me out for the two weeks they said it would take to get back to me? YES

I can relate I had a 15 min Skype Interview. Ahhh 4 faculty members all asked 1 question 2 at least asked follow up questions. It was on Skype my first time. I know in my heart my answer were right for me, that's what will keep me going. Now just waiting another 2 weeks.

At least once every 10 min, even with push notifications. We were told that decisions would be emailed out today, plus I still keep looking for any information from my top choice

Yes scary is true but late doesn't mean anything when you check the boards for April there are plenty of acceptances and even some in May. Never lose a positive attitude.

In the past 2 days I have had interview requests from 2 schools whose deadline was within the past month. Very excited, however I have still yet to hear from my first choice program where the deadline is now over 3 months ago. Granted I don't think others who have applied for the program at this school have heard but I mean, really!

I think a lot of it is just being able to have a conversation with the applicants, I have only had one in person and have a Skype next Monday, the in person was an hour of just conversation around many topics and ideas. Know your desires know information about school and program, know info on your POI but don't stree

Got another interview offer this morning, making it 2 out of 5, so far still have heard zero from 2 schools, I may not be shooting for top schools like everyone else on these boards, but I am still as nervous. “Don't you find it odd," she continued, "that when you're a kid, everyone, all the world, encourages you to follow your dreams.
