shilpav82
I am on an unofficial waitlist at UConn, and it's driving me crazy. Am neither rejected nor on an official waitlist, and april 15 is only two weeks away!!! I wrote to them, they say they can't say how long it will take. Any of you accepted, rejected, or officially waitlisted? I'd like to hear from you and please let me know when you were notified. Appa
I've been officially waitlisted by them in February. However, judging from the posts on the result page I think their waitlist is a pretty long one. I personally don't get my hopes up for an offer but I've always been a bit of a pessimist good luck to you!

I wrote to mary fischer thrice over two months (no response) and finally called the dept to check if she's even receiving my emails. I left a message for her and then i received this email. "You are still on the waiting list with a fairly high rank, but we have not had much movement in our list. It is possible that might change on or beforeApril 15th as we hear back from those with outstanding offers. I will be in touch immediately if that is the case. However, I would not advise that you pass up another opportunity on the chance that something might come through with us." Has Uconn sent you an update on your status? do you have other offers? Where are you likely to go? Edited April 9, 2015 by shilpav82
