Tensorspace Posted April 6, 2015 Posted April 6, 2015 I received the admission of master of statistics of University Michigan recently. I searched job placement of their alumni on LinkedIn and found out for international student (I am an international student myself), most of them landed a job, but mostly in the area of risk control in various financial institutes. For me, my target is job requiring more codings, like machine learning etc.. Thank you guys if you can give me some insights into the job prospects of this program considering my preference.
Ryan123 Posted April 19, 2015 Posted April 19, 2015 It really depends on how you can answer the coding questions in the interview.
echlori Posted April 19, 2015 Posted April 19, 2015 If you haven't read it already, Cracking the Coding Interview is a good place to start.
