What does this status change mean?

I need someone to help me read the tea leaves. 

 

My application status used to say: "[insert random numbers and letters] YOUR APPLICATION IS COMPLETE AND HAS BEEN FORWARDED TO THE ADMISSIONS COMMITTEE.

 

Now it says: "[insert random numbers and letters] COMPLETED/IN REVIEW." 

 

I know I'm grasping at straws, but I need something to get me through this wait. Any idea of the reason behind the change or think it means anything?

I'd say the committee is now looking at your application, or possibly has made a decision. I think the former is more likely.

Just wanted to give people an update: I believe mathcat was correct. I followed up by calling the school to "confirm that they had received everything," and they told me that they had just starting looking at my application. ><
