Hi all,

I have received admission to MS in Underground Construction & Tunneling at Colorado School of Mines without any funding. I am finding it difficult to decide whether to join or not as the fees is very high (US $62000 for 2 yrs excluding living expenses). Even though I can afford this fee, I am not sure whether it is worth it as Colorado School of Mines is not a top ranked institute.

I am an International student and presently work in Singapore in Underground Construction & Tunneling field. I believe with this degree I will have an opportunity to work anywhere, but I will have to leave my current job which is paying me very well.

Apart from Colorado School of Mines, I have also received admit to University of Illinois at Chicago [no funding:( ] where is the fees is not so high (abt US $30-32k). I am also waiting for decision from Northeastern University and few Canadian Universities.

Please suggest where I should join.

Thank you :)
