Academic Core in Art History vs. A Certificate in Non-Profit Management

Recommended Posts

I am about to start a Museum Studies program where my focus will be on museum management. In order to get my degree I have to complete an academic core with four graduate courses from outside departments.  Since ultimately I would love to work in a contemporary art museum, I thought about taking graduate art history courses as my academic core. However, I could also use up my academic core classes in order to obtain a Certificate in Non-Profit Management, thus making myself more applicable to jobs outside of museums. Does anyone have any ideas about which would option is better? Thank you for your help!
