ungeziefer35 Posted June 9, 2015 Posted June 9, 2015 Hello, I am in the process of preparing to move to Hattiesburg, MS this fall for a PhD program at University of Southern Mississippi. I am currently pricing different apartments in the area and running into an issue that most apartments are 2-bedroom. Furthermore, most of the 1-bedrooms and townhouse set-ups(!) are about the same price as the 2. Rather than wasting space/money with an extra room, I was hoping to find a roommate in the area to split the rent on a 2-bedroom apartment. Most of the places I found were in the range of $530/month, or half for both of us. If anyone is interested in finding a roommate, let me know so I can make arrangements with property managers. Most with whom I've recently spoken are very nice and it should be no problem to find a room. I can provide more specific information if you want but I figured I'd get a gauge on opinions first.
