HopefulFutureSLP2016 Posted June 17, 2015 Posted June 17, 2015 Since the beginning, I've always thought that I would prefer working with children (I originally was planning on majoring in early childhood ed!) as an SLP in either a school setting or clinical setting. Now, a senior Communication Disorders major, I am unsure as to whether I'd enjoy working in a medical setting, school setting, or clinical setting more. Maybe I'd like to do a little of each..? So..my question for all of you is...does anyone know what SLP grad programs focus more on school-based SLP, which focus more on medical based SLP, and which focus on both aspects? This will be beneficial for me when applying to schools. Feedback is appreciated! Thank you!
