HopefulFutureSLP2016 Posted June 22, 2015 Posted June 22, 2015 While looking into prospective grad schools for SLP, I've noticed that some offer a masters of science in SLP and others offer a masters of art in SLP. This may be a stupid question, but..what exactly is the difference between the two? And which is better to have?
MangoSmoothie Posted June 22, 2015 Posted June 22, 2015 (edited) There are already threads and this, and neither is better than the other. Edited June 22, 2015 by MangoSmoothie
JustJay Posted June 23, 2015 Posted June 23, 2015 Only thing I can add is I am going into an MA program, and they include a teaching license with my degree which is interesting.
jpiccolo Posted June 27, 2015 Posted June 27, 2015 There's even a master of education at some schools. My clinical supervisors have all three types. I really don't think it matters. JustJay 1
