Apply for Spring 2016 or Fall 2016 for MS?

I only recently made the decision to apply to MS statistics programs, but it is too late for starting this fall. Does spring usually not get financial aid?

Depends on the department. Usually the funding is tied up mid-year. 

I'm in a similar situation and I'm waiting for a fall 2016 start date.
