toxicdevil Posted July 15, 2015 Posted July 15, 2015 What are some colleges that provide funding to MS students? I know that many have TAships etc reserved for PhDs but some dont. Can some tell me which of them offer funding?
CSallday Posted July 16, 2015 Posted July 16, 2015 I am only familiar with top-20 programs. From those: Stanford funds their 'strongest' incoming MS students with a TAship. Princeton funds its Masters. If you count MIT Media Lab, their Masters program is funded as well.
gorki Posted July 16, 2015 Posted July 16, 2015 [...] Princeton funds its Masters [...] This is correct, princeton's cs masters program is rather small (think 10-15 students per year) but AFAIK they all receive full TAship
Adamah Posted July 18, 2015 Posted July 18, 2015 Stanford primarily chooses 5th year Stanford Masters students as TAs, because they've taken the courses they TA for. CMU Robotics Masters funds its students, but only for RAships. The amount varies from year to year, sometimes it's half the students and sometimes it's all of them.
