Civil Enge: acceptance into graduate school

I am currently a student at Virginia Tech majoring in civil and environmental engineering. Since Tech's program doesn't really allow for specific tracks, I decided to go ahead and try to pursue a master's degree in transportation engineering (or maybe hydraulics). The problem is that I am unsure of my ability to get accepted into a program... I currently have an overall GPA of 3.34 and an in-major GPA of 3.6. Here are the schools that I want to apply to: (all non-thesis)

  • University of Wisconsin - Madison
  • University of Colorado - Boulder
  • Virginia Tech
  • North Carolina State University
  • University of Maryland - College Park
  • University of Washington - Seattle

Am I shooting too high? Are there any other schools I should be looking at? Will my internship experience strengthen my application? Any advice or commentary is greatly appreciated! I am planning on taking the GRE in August so I'm hoping that score will better my odds a bit. Thanks!
