Kate22192 Posted September 22, 2015 Posted September 22, 2015 Hi all,I'm currently looking at USU prereq courses and trying to match them with prereqs required by schools I'll be applying to. A few schools ask for a course like "Neurophysiological Bases of Communication" and I cannot figure out which USU course would cover this.... Any ideas? Thank you!
slporbust2016 Posted September 23, 2015 Posted September 23, 2015 Unfortunately, USU doesn't have a neuroanatomy class, so I know that I'll have to take one if I get into some of the schools on my list.
Kate22192 Posted September 23, 2015 Author Posted September 23, 2015 Ah, good to know. What about courses such as "introduction to speech/hearing/language disorders" or "disorders of speech and vocal production"? Does anyone know of other online options where I could take these courses? Thank you!
slporbust2016 Posted September 23, 2015 Posted September 23, 2015 I think those would be COMD 4450 and COMD 3120 respectively. I know UWEC has a neuroanatomy class, and I've heard ENMU. I haven't researched it yet, though.
Trinipchiz Posted September 26, 2015 Posted September 26, 2015 Longwood University has an online neuroanatomy course that I took as a prerequisite. Their admission process is very seamless and the course is not as expensive as other online options. They may have other online prerequisite classes available also. Good luck!
