So I'm taking the GRE for the second time on Monday. My first attempt was October 2014 where I scored a 290, V145 (21%), Q145 (25%), and a 4.0 AW (56%). These are obviously horrible scores that brought down my near perfect application. Although I did receive two offers, they were both without funding and I couldn't attend the schools due to finances. I'm going for geology so the programs probably care a lot more about the Q then the V section. So I spent my time studying for the Q section. I took both Q sections of the powerprep tests timed and I got a 148 Q on the first one and a 142 Q on the second. Monday can go either way now all I really want is an average score on the Q, that's it ! Do you guys have any advice? I've been using the Princeton review book and the Paterson book (which is really easy).
