There must be more information given for this question. Remember, on the GRE the figures are not drawn to scale unless stated. For example if C is the mid point for the line joining AE then you can draw an imaginary line from point B to C. Now you get two similar triangles which are isosceles. Since you know BAC = 48 then you should be able to figure out that DCE = DEC = 48. Solving this you get 84 degrees for CDE.

CDE + 2(48) = 180

CDE = 84.
