The University of Massachusetts Lowell is offering a new doctoral program leading to the PhD in Applied Psychology and Prevention Science. The first class will be admitted for Fall, 2016.  More information is available at http://www.uml.edu/FAHSS/Psychology/Graduate/Phd-APPS.

Applicants must already hold the master's degree and be admitted to one of three areas of concentration:  (1) Applied Cognitive Psychology, (2) Applied Developmental Psychology, and (3) Community and Applied Social Psychology.  Interested applicants should check the website and may contact Dr. Allyssa McCabe, program coordinator, with questions (allyssa_mccabe@uml.edu)

If it wasn't for the fact that you guys want people with Master's degrees, I would have applied to the Community and Applied Social Psychology degree in a heartbeat. I'm actually finishing up a grad certificate at UML in Victim Studies, and I love how the psych and criminal justice departments have so many people with research interests in interpersonal, domestic, and sexual violence.
