FafferMcgee Posted November 7, 2015 Posted November 7, 2015 I learned last application season that I didn't need to send official school transcripts with the application, and that unofficial reporting/transcripts sufficed for admissions information. (Though official transcripts required if you've been accepted/admitted.) Is this the case with the GRE scores? Probably a long shot, but every application has fields for unofficial scores/transcripts so in theory they could function the same.
StyLeD Posted November 7, 2015 Posted November 7, 2015 (edited) Every admissions department will have a different policy. Generally, if the online application allows you to self-report scores, there's a decent chance that your application will not be delayed. The ad com may make a decision based on your scores and follow up with you afterwards. I would also be careful about the transcript requirement - some schools require an official transcript before even releasing applications to their respective departments. This could tank your chances and eliminate funding (personal experience). Edited November 7, 2015 by StyLeD
