I was wondering whether it was common for all or most Pediatric Infectious Disease Units to have an SLP as a part of their team. I have come across only a few hospitals that specifically mention having an SLP for this unit. I wonder if it is more common to have an SLP on call who periodically comes from another unit as needed?
