Jack Sparrow Posted November 16, 2015 Posted November 16, 2015 Hi, since it's subforum where we can talk about GRE... Is general GRE test mandatory when I want to take subject test? I can't find such information anywhere, thanks for help.
MonstersU-Terp Posted November 16, 2015 Posted November 16, 2015 GRE & GRE Subject are two separate exams. In general, GRE is required by the Graduate School and GRE subject is required for the program. You have to keep in mind that even though you're only filling out one application, technically you have to be accepted twice: by the Graduate School and by your program. You most likely will have to take the GRE for the Graduate School, I personally don't know of any schools that don't require it.
GREMasterEMPOWERRichC Posted November 18, 2015 Posted November 18, 2015 Hi Jack Sparrow, Do you know which Schools/Programs that you plan to apply to? If you do, then you should be able to research the individual websites and find the information that you're looking for? If you cannot find it, then I suggest that you contact the Schools directly and ask. They'll likely be happy to answer any (and all) questions that you have about attending the Program. GRE Masters aren't born, they're made, Rich
