Weird Question in SOP prompt?

I'm writing one of my SOPs and the prompt specifically asks for me to write about how I expect to finance my studies. I'm just finding this a really odd question as I've yet to come across it in any of my other prompts and am not really sure how to go about answering this. Does anyone have any sort of advice for this?

Graduate assistantships from the department, in addition to applying for external funding from X, Y, and Z. That's what I would say and I'd keep it incredibly brief.
