Which of these two GRE scores should I send for a graduate program in astronomy?

Hi,

I have passed two GRE tests, and I don't know which one of the two scores I should send for a graduate program in astronomy.

The first time I got: Verbal Reasoning 153 (59%) - Quantitative Reasoning 161 (80%) - Analytical Writing 3.5 (38%)

The second time I got: Verbal Reasoning 155 (67%) - Quantitative Reasoning 162 (83%) - Analytical Writing 3.0 (15%)

Maybe one of the three parts is more important than the other two?

I would submit both.  What do you have to lose?

It varies by program which part of the GRE is most important.  I would recommend calling/emailing your top choice programs to see what they are most interested in, and if they have cutoff scores for any of the sections.  That being said, your two scores are so similar, I don't see it hurting you to send both.  It might help if any of your programs have a 3.5 AW cutoff score.

Can we submit 2 scores? I am also sellibg in the same boat. My scores are 1. A 3.5 V 152 Q 162

2. A 3.0 V 150 Q 166.
