submitting online application before supplemental materials?

Maybe this is a dumb question, but I have a few applications that I could feasibly submit the online portion before my supplemental materials, which include 1 outstanding LoR, a writing sample, and my GRE scores, all of which will be sent in separately, but probably not for another month or so. Should I wait, just to be safe, or is it OK to submit online before the rest gets there?

It's fine to submit the electronic app before the supplemental materials. If you'll scroll down the forum topics a few days back, you'll find a post asking about the exact opposite - submitting the materials before the app itself. Most people seemed to think it would be better to do it your way - app first, materials second.

Yes it should be fine. I've submitted my application to one university and my GRE score will go in later this month.
