Anybody waiting to hear from OSU for English or Comparative Studies?

I know they are generally pretty early to respond, and I am so impatient. Has anyone heard anything about spots available, when they're sending out notices, etc.?

Edit: Just noticed you're applying for a PhD, so I'm guessing that's Ohio State then, correct?  Sorry, I originally responded thinking you meant Oregon State (as I just applied for their funded MA). Good luck, the waiting it brutal sometimes!

I saw one post (a rejection) on the results forum for this year--but haven't heard anything myself. From looking at past years, it's usually around the 20th or so of this month, so there's still a bit of time to wait, I guess.

Sorry, yes, Ohio State for Comparative Studies or English... people have heard as early as the 13th for Comparative Studies in the past, so I was just wondering if anyone's heard anything yet this season.

Here here... OSU Comparative studies phd. Still no respond, no interview either. But a professor asked me some questions thru email. It's been like two weeks after that, so I'm not sure about the result. Still pending.

I'd appreciate if you can tell me once you have any updates.

Just got rejected from OSU's Comparative Studies program. Received an email on behalf of Nina Berman, Graduate Studies Director: 

 

"Thank you for your interest in our program and for submitting an application. The admissions process was very competitive this year; we had more applications than expected, and many of them were very strong. Unfortunately, we can only admit a very small group of students. Your application was strong, but we had to make some tough decisions, and were not able to include you in the group of students who were admitted.

 

We wish you all the best for your graduate education."

 

So...that sucks. This or OSU's English program were my first choice.
