MelRel Posted January 15, 2016 Posted January 15, 2016 Hi guys, I'm new here but I think it would be good to have an interview/interview invites thread where people can share if they have gotten interviews for the schools they applied to and when they are. I'm still in the process of applying to schools but I'm not sure when I'm supposed to hear back on the ones I applied to a while ago. If you're curious my list includes the following. Only some of them are Linguistics. The ones that aren't are for whatever department (English, Modern Lang/Cul, Lit/lang/cul, etc) has a PhD/MA in SLA/SLS. Georgetown University - Dec 15th University of Pennsylvania - Dec 15th University of Wisconsin-Madison - Dec 20th Purdue University - Jan 1st University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign - Jan 4th University of Southern California - Jan 7th University of Maryland - Jan 15th Indiana University - Jan 15th Illinois State University - Jan 15th Northern Arizona University - Jan 30th Pennsylvania State University - Feb 1st Georgia State University - Feb 2nd I know its a lot but I don't want to take any chances.
historicallinguist Posted January 15, 2016 Posted January 15, 2016 I think Northern Arizona University does not have a theoretical linguistics department and it only has an applied ling department. MelRel 1
