noisette Posted January 18, 2016 Posted January 18, 2016 Hi everyone, I am a medical oncologist from Taiwan and am applying for PhD study focusing on cancer biology. I know both Johns Hopkins and Weill Cornell are both good in this field, so it's a bit difficult for me to choose. Cornell is affiliated with MSKCC, which is quite attractive for medical oncologist. However, Johns Hopkins seems to have better academic reputation (?). Can anyone give me suggestions on how to choose between these institutes? As an oncologist, I hope to do translational research, that is, directly related to treatment and even using clinical samples. Thanks a lot!
