Scenario: I got an offer from the program I want to attend two days ago. However, I had scheduled two other interviews in case I didn't get an offer from my top pick. The other interviews already booked airfare for me. I get charged for the plane tickets if I cancel my interview. Do I still attend the interviews just to check the other programs out if I am set? I also really don't want to pay for the air fare. Any tips or words of wisdom?

Have you previously visited your top choice program? I ask because when I visited PhD programs, what had been my top choice before the visit dropped in my personal rankings once I got there. Similarly, other schools rose in opinion after visiting. So, I'd visit because you never know how your opinion about the programs will change.

Besides what rising_star said, if you don't mind the travel, it could be a good opportunity to network with other people in your field. It's also nice to hear different professors' perspectives on the field/research. I always feel like I learn a lot after talking to professors.
