Contact school after interview

I had my interview one month ago (Jan 21st) and I was told to expect my result within 2-3 weeks, by the professors who did my interview. However, I have received no news until now. On Monday (Feb 22nd), I sent an email to the Phd program to ask about my status, still no response. Should I wait more or write an email to the professor who did my interview? I have had one offer already; however this school is better than my first offer.

I really appreciate if anyone can give some idea. Thanks a lot.

It's only been two days. Give it more time. Once a week has passed, then you can try again. Check also to see if it's spring break at your POI's school, because if it is, it might be why s/he is slower. Might also be midterm season, again a reason for a slowdown.

I really do not pay attention to spring break/ midterm season. Those may be the reasons too. Thank you for your reminder!
