lindsey372 Posted February 27, 2016 Posted February 27, 2016 For those of you who have submitted abstracts/proposals to journals before, please help me figure this out! The submission info says that all submissions must be MLA format, and that you may submit 1 page proposals or short 10-12 page essays. NOW - should the proposal be single spaced or double????
fuzzylogician Posted February 27, 2016 Posted February 27, 2016 Journals have submission guidelines for authors that discuss issues like formatting, length requirements, and such. Sometimes it can be a bit hard to find, but I've never seen a journal that didn't have such a guide. Look for links like "for authors" or "submission guidelines." If you can't find one, look for the guidelines for the journal's publisher on the publisher's webpage.
sarabethke Posted February 27, 2016 Posted February 27, 2016 One thing that's become my motto this year is: "Double spacing is required for a reason--it's easier to read." Unless there are submission guidelines that specifically say otherwise.
