So I just received my test scores my Vocab (530/70%) and Quant (720/75%) are both fine but my analytical score is atrocious (3.0/10%). I know I can do better but don't have time to retake it unless I want to delay my application for another year. I am applying for Scoiology and I know that for example Texas doesn't even factor in the analytical section, does anyone know if their are any other programs out there where it isn't counted or where it carries very little weight. I want to study Crim, race, and strat so that would be my prefered program interest.

I'm told that a wonderful writing sample will offset a low analytical score. Do the programs you're interested in require a writing sample? If they do, by all means send in your best work to prove that you can write well!

Most of them do. I am finishing preparing the writing sample as we speak. It is the findings of work that I presented at a larger regional conference on the west coast in which I was the only person to present who did not a phd or was in grad school.
