Mynameisk Posted March 2, 2016 Posted March 2, 2016 I got accepted into a grad program a few days ago, and the letter of admission stated that 'details of your financial support will be sent to you under separate cover' and that they 'hope that this financial support will make it easier for you to attend'. However, today I got an e-mail from the director of my program and all it said were the tuition fees for the program (and they were the full tuition fees). I'm so confused! Should I e-mail the director back and clarify? How do I even phrase it?
rising_star Posted March 2, 2016 Posted March 2, 2016 Yes, you should clarify. "Dear Dr. X, Thank you for the additional information about the cost of attending XYZ Program. It is very helpful. At this time, I am still waiting to hear about the financial support available before deciding where to attend. Do you know when details about financial support will be available? Thank you in advance for your assistance." Or something similar to that. Mynameisk 1
