Question

To everyone who had experience with appeal grad admission denial.

I have just received an email from UW-Seattle regarding my MSEE admission denial for Fall 2006. See below for part of the email, the email indicated that I could request to transfer my application to a PMP(Professional Master's Program) application.

"As you may know, the UWEE department has two Master’s programs, and we would like to introduce you to the Professional Master’s Program (PMP) in Electrical Engineering. The PMP serves the growing need for engineers and scientists with advanced degrees in the Puget Sound Region. With a leading curriculum, the PMP offers a wide range of courses covering areas such as smart grid and renewable energy; embedded computing; systems, controls and robotics; electromagnetics; signal, image and video processing; microelectromechanical systems; and wireless communications.

If this program sounds like a good fit for you, we encourage you to review our admission requirements and indicate your interest by contacting us at pmp@ee.washington.edu by Thursday, March 31stInstead of the ordinary application process, by sending an email to pmp@ee.washington.edu, you can request that we convert your daytime MSEE application to a PMP application. No further action from you will be required. We will then evaluate your application for admission to the PMP and notify you by late June. "

I would like to know if anybody know about UW-Seattle's appeal process for grad admission denial?

or if anybody is familiar with the Professional Master's Program offered by UW? Is it worthy the time and money? Does it offer any career opportunity?

Any answer is appreciated, thank you in advanced!
