eska Posted March 15, 2016 Posted March 15, 2016 I was accepted into a lab for a Msc project - and although very interested in the program, I don't know if I am 100% interested in the particular research field (only supervisor who accepted me so no other choice at this school). My question is, how invested do you have to be in your field of research for a Masters program? The entire first year is very heavily course based anyways so I would only be doing more research in my second year. Also, I plan on applying for my PhD upon completion of my MSc.. Any help is hugely appreciated!!!! Thanks.
rising_star Posted March 15, 2016 Posted March 15, 2016 It's only two years of your life. Provided it's something you can be somewhat/mostly interested in for that time, you should be fine.
