dayeachu Posted March 16, 2016 Posted March 16, 2016 Hello, I got accepted into a masters program that is normally not funded. However, I was emailed by the department saying that they have recommended me to receive some fellowship money, but that they do not handle that decision in their department. The email goes on to say that if I do receive any money, I will be contacted "very soon" directly by the college. It has been a week and a half since this email. Would it be rude to contact someone about any updates, or does a week and a half seem like "very soon" passed?
rising_star Posted March 16, 2016 Posted March 16, 2016 1.5 weeks isn't much time for something like a funding decision. I would wait at least another week.
ChemGuy88 Posted March 25, 2016 Posted March 25, 2016 At the same time, a week and a half is long enough so that an innocent question on the situation would not be rude.
