hurricaneal Posted March 22, 2016 Posted March 22, 2016 After rejected by all the places I applied to, I was admitted into the two years Master of Science in Applied Physics program of some universities. I can afford the tuition fee, and what makes me concerning is the following thing. If I want to continue pursuing a PhD in the exactly same place, will this Master program be helpful? Has anyone tried or heard about this before? Thanks
GeoDUDE! Posted March 23, 2016 Posted March 23, 2016 It could... you should ask that department if there MSc students can matriculate into their phd programs. Especially if your research advisor (if this is a research based masters) likes you and you want to conintue in his/her lab.
