SLP grad school applicant with low GPA advice please!

Question

Posted (edited)

I graduated in December 2015 from a school in Tx with a bachelors in Communication Sciences and Disorders. My overall GPA is 3.26 which is low in our field and a 3.5 gpa in my courses of CSDO! I applied to about 4 schools and got rejected from them all (not suprisingly)! I had come to terms with the fact that my gpa is low and I may never get into a program but now that I have been working as an SLP-A under a great supervisor I am determined more than ever to continue my education in this field I am very passionate about! I am gearing up to apply for schools this spring semester and would appreciate any tips or advice on where I could apply or what I can do to get in! I am open to moving ANYWHERE! I plan to retake my GRE which I scored a 260 on without preperation what so ever, so I am confident with a tutor I can do much better! I also think it is important to mention my last 60 hours GPA is at a 3.4 therefore the grades I got in my first 3 semesters (college party stage) are what are damaging my overall GPA! I am well aware I should've tried harder earlier on but I unfortunately hadn't discovered this beautiful major and once I did my entire outlook on education changed!
