LateAntique Posted November 30, 2009 Posted November 30, 2009 This is for my Classics homies. I actually like Greek and Latin and so I like translating, but towards the end of the semester I'm getting a little tired of it. I realized that if I listen to Rage against the Machine (particularly Battle for Los Angeles), Homer becomes WAY more intense. It's fun. caputmundi 1
ClemSnide Posted December 14, 2009 Posted December 14, 2009 Greek was the source of significant anxiety this past semester - maybe I should try this. With something easier on the ears than RATM though.

Sometimes I like something a little more melodic when I translate.
ClemSnide Posted December 14, 2009 Posted December 14, 2009 Speaking of music and studying, I have a Latin final exam tomorrow and I spent the entire day listening to music. And not studying. And now I have various ear worms while I try to work on Ab Urbe Condita. Great.

I always freak out and think that I'm going to go completely blank on something simple like noun endings, so I spend the day before cramming really simple stuff into my head. Good luck to you on yours!
