gradschoolseeker Posted December 6, 2009 Posted December 6, 2009 I am graduating this year (May 2010) and getting a Bachelor of Science in Applied Economics - Agricultural and Environmental Econ (at a Big 10 university). Considering my Econ and Mathematics background, I was wondering if someone can help direct me to programs that are heavy in those areas? Other topics I am interested in, (I love analysis): -Comparative Policy and Politics -International Policy, foreign policy -Analysis and evaluation -Developmental Econ It may seem that I should get an MA in Econ; however, I'm really liking the professional degree of an MPA/MPP. Please let me know if you think it would be wise to stick with Econ vs. the MPA. These are some schools I am thinking about, I am planning to start the application process for Spring 2011, or Fall 2011. George Mason UMBC North Carolina State University I have weak GPA of 3.2, my GREs are V: 550, Q: 620, & Writing: 4. I understand I'm not competitive. I have to try the GRE again. Please let me know if you'd like to learn more about my situation. I'm looking forward to some feedback.
