University of Iowa - Fall 2016

Anyone else going to be heading to Iowa City in the fall? I'll be working on a Master's in Civil Engineering.

Hi! I'll be starting my Ph.D. in clinical psychology at University of Iowa this fall.

I'm taking a trip there next month to look for an apartment. I'm really excited to see what the city looks like during the spring, since my interview was in early February.

Hi! I'll also be starting this fall in the microbiology department!

I did a summer research program over there, and I would recommend finding an apartment that is close to a bus stop or in walking distance of the school since parking is a nightmare.

I probably won't have a car during my first year there, so I'm definitely looking at places that are close to the bus lines.

I've mainly been looking at places near University Heights, since that's close enough to the U of I hospitals for me, and it seems a little bit cheaper than downtown Iowa City.
