NYU is my top choice because I was admitted to a dual degree program so in three years I will have an MPH/MPA vs. a two year MPH from the others. The MPA comes from a top 10 management and policy school.  I also want to live in NYC sometime and networking opportunity is endless!  Tuition at all institutions is in the same range.   My dream is to have a foreign service career but I know how competitive it is.  I would aspire to a leadership role with International NGOs and government agencies as my fall back.

The extra year for the dual degree, as well as NYC cost of living makes NYU by far the most expensive.  I didn't get any scholarship to NYU.  But it's my favorite.

Emory has a great reputation in PH, I got a medium sized scholarship, cost of living in Atlanta is way less than NYU.

Washington University is a great school, but their MPH program has only been accredited since 2012.  They gave me the biggest award, nearly 50% tuition.  Super cheap living costs

So, is the three year dual degree worth the extra year of tuition at NYU, plus lack of financial support?  Should I be concerned about WashU's new MPH program being underdeveloped?
