After 15th of April, I have received full funding from Cambridge University, UK on 2nd of May. I am torn. Don't commit to attending a 5-year PhD program in the US, and presumably therefore a different career path, if you would rather be in the UK, just because the timing worked out a certain way. The only thing I would advise is to be very sure, and to do it quickly, if you are going to tell Cornell you've changed your mind.
