Where to apply based on abstract portfolio/feedback?

I haven't had my portfolio extensively critiqued but am very intersted in applying to an MFA program in painting (I have a BFA in photography, which I use as part of my painting process). I'd say my work would be described as abstract as friends and other artists have commented on. I'm influenced by a lot of abstract expressionists and some of the newer painters that are around my age like Vittorio Brodmann and Torey Thornton. 

Anyone know of a good place to post work online to get feedback? I've tried reddit and a few other forums but haven't gotten any conversation going.
