I am in the process of starting to apply to grad school but I am stuck. I have a list of schools that look at the last 60 units but I would also like to look at schools that are "less competitive" that do not look at the last 60 units. Has anyone done this? Any suggestions on schools to apply to? I would really appreciate some advice especially from others who have been in my position.

My undergrad GPA was 2.5 and my post bacc GPA so far is 3.54. I plan on taking the GRE again.

Thank you.

Pretty much all schools require a 3.0 gpa to get into the graduate school. I'm not sure if your post-bacc counts, so I would call each school's graduate office to check. You have to get into the graduate school before you can get into any programs. I think most schools look at the last 60 hrs because those are typically the upper level classes, and that gives them some kind of perspective if you can be successful in their program or not. Good luck!
