So i graduated from undergrad with a good GPA (3.90/4.00), conducted research for 2.5 years in an undergraduate research lab (with a focus on organic synthesis, presented at the ACS conference, work is in process of being published), received awards for academic performance and within my chemistry department for research, and am now conducting research and method development at a pharmaceutical company in Boston (albeit in analytical instead of organic synthesis). HOWEVER, my GRE scores are less than spectacular... low 150's and I fall around the meaty portion of the bell curve for the Chemistry GRE... Since high school I have been a poor standardized test taker, but give me any class-based test, be it in Chemistry or any other discipline, and I'll rock it (my transcript reflects this as well). I would really like to apply this cycle (Fall 2016), however, I'm afraid that I may not be putting forth the best application I possibly can. Is there still a shot at getting into top-tier schools with my less than stellar GRE scores, or should I postpone my application and give myself another shot at the GRE tests?

Any input is much appreciated, thanks guys!
