saranyc234 Posted October 14, 2016 Posted October 14, 2016 Hello - I have been looking online for blogs or other sites that would be helpful during the admissions cycle. I wanted to see if anyone had a blog they referred to while they were pulling together their application that was helpful. I found a few generic grad school admission blogs, but something specific to MPP/MPA would be great
coasts Posted October 15, 2016 Posted October 15, 2016 Schools actually have really helpful blogs, especially around what they're looking for in your materials (personal statement, resume). I looked at the blogs of schools I didn't even apply to. HKS, SIPA, WWS all have admissions blogs. You can look at their archives too.
CakeTea Posted October 15, 2016 Posted October 15, 2016 Prof Chris Blattman at SIPA has a well written blog from a professor's perspective. Some schools have a student blog section.
OldMan77 Posted October 15, 2016 Posted October 15, 2016 Both SAIS DC and SAIS Bologna have good blogs. DC's is more nuts and bolts about admission while Bologna's has a lot of info regarding what is happening on campus and what students have done. http://saisdcadmissions.blogspot.com/ http://saisbolognaadmissions.blogspot.it/#uds-search-results
