Ron Posted January 9, 2010 Posted January 9, 2010 (edited) Hi, guys, I am so thrilled to find such a forum to solve my puzzles. I am an international student so that I can only get academic information from the brief introduction on the website. I got an admission of the program TCOM(Telecommuniations & Networking) from Upenn a few days ago. Is anybody familiar with this program? I am looking forward to your help. Thank you. jamrock9 Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 (edited) Hi Ron, Would you mind if I ask what your GRE scores and GPA are? As far as the website for TCOM goes, it seems like it's an interesting program. I think a lot of these programs are relatively new. It seems as though TCOM is very similar to the MEM program at Duke, which you can learn about here <http://memp.pratt.duke.edu/>. Note that these types of programs are generally vocational. If you want to get a PhD afterwards, this might not help you much. Instead, a standard Master's in engineering would probably be better for industrial or academic purposes.
