Grenache Posted November 3, 2016 Posted November 3, 2016 Hi everyone, First time posting here. My situation/problem - I had transferred universities in my 3rd year. My grades were crap before (C average). I'm applying to SLP this winter to U of T, McMaster and Western. My subGPA should be around 3.82 or so. I have more than enough credits from my 2nd university to calculate a subGPA and no prerequisites from my first university but they are still saying I have to send a transcript from each university. How much is this going to affect my chances? I definitely had some mental health issues due to being away from home and not being able to envision a future for myself basically, I just didn't realize at the time and unfortunately I don't have any documentation to support this. I know how bad it looks but can anyone give me advice on how to explain this in my letter of intent? Thanks
lindzzz Posted November 3, 2016 Posted November 3, 2016 If I'm understanding this right... You are worries about your grades previous to subGPA right?? That shouldn't matter. I had a TERRIBLE transcript from my first year of university and still got into U of A. Ive heard similar about other universities so I wouldn't worry
SpeechiePeachie Posted August 24, 2017 Posted August 24, 2017 Such a relief! I've been pulling my hair over here thinking that your grades from your first university would matter. Mine wasn't the best either.. Thanks
