Am I too late?

I'm in the middle of submitting my apps (deadlines are 1/15, 2/1 and 3/1). I have not even started to look into financial aid, and I'm pretty confused as to where to begin. I know I need to fill out the FAFSA forms, but where do I go from there? Just by looking at some posts here it seems that may scholarship deadlines have passed, so does that mean I'm too late for the 2010-2011 school year?

Make sure you submit for financial aid available for your school - sometimes this needs to be addressed in your SOP (relevant teaching/research experience), sometimes they have extra forms for you to fill out etc. that are due on the same application date. I think most of the "big" fellowship/scholarship deadlines have passed for this year (I missed them too), but there are also probably still a few out there - and definitely check the schools/departments opportunities.
